Looking for Valentine’s gifts for best friends? This list of cute Valentine’s day gifts for best friends is a great place to start. Whether your best friend loves jewellery, makeup, experiences, wine or novelty items, there’s something for every girl!
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and it can be a lonely time of year for some. If you suspect your pal might be feeling a little bummed this year, get them a little pick me up for Galentine’s Day to remind her that BFFs over BFs any day (#cheeseball).
There are so many little bits and bobs around this year that would make perfect Valentine’s gifts for best friends to really cheer up someone’s day.
Here are some ideas for what to get your best friend for Valentine’s Day:
p.s. I must apologise in advance for the recurrent use of “bestie” and “gal”. Sickie bags found to your right.
Pandora Charms
If you know your bestie already has a Pandora charm bracelet, treat her to a little charm so she’ll always be reminded of you when she wears it.
There are a huge range of charms available and their new Valentine’s Day collection offers plenty of cute romantic options. The cheaper options start at around £15/20 but if you feel like splashing out on your bestie there are some sparklier options too.
I’ve selected three of my favourites here in three different price brackets:

Tangle Angel Hairbrush
This gorgeous rose gold hairbrush from Tangle Angel will give your gal effortlessly silky smooth hair with just a few brush strokes. It’s much like a tangle teezer but I selected the option with a handle.
There’s a large range of these in multiple different colours from Tangle Angel and you can opt for those without a handle too. I’m sure your girl will feel fancy af with this on her dressing table as it’s a hairbrush that looks like its fit for the gods.

Lush “The Kiss” Lip Scrub
Everybody loves to be pampered with Lush products and the fact that they’re also vegan friendly gets a big tick from me.
Chapped lips can be such a mood killer so if your gal’s going out on the town and she’s ready to pucker up then she needs to add this to her routine.
The tiniest amount of sugar will make your lips super smooth and the best part is it’s edible so you can just lick it off!
The scrub contains the tiniest little hearts in it too and tastes just like Love Hearts.
Lush “The Kiss” Lip Gloss
This is sold as a “lip gloss” but it’s really a lip balm with a bit of shimmer. It’s a great follow up after The Kiss lip scrub (above) and is a great way to add some slightly metallic rosy shimmer to your lips without any of the stickiness of lip gloss.
This is a daily essential your bestie will thank you for.
Sleek Blush By 3 Palette
This is the first time I’ve ever tried Sleek products myself and I have to say I am impressed. This blush compact is super thin and sleek but with a decent sized mirror inside. This is the “flame” palette, which is definitely the most striking of the lot.
I imagine these aren’t the sorts of colours you’d be wearing on a daily basis if you’re going on a Saturday night and want to make an impression then this is the perfect palette!
Out of the three colours, the metallic peach tone is my favourite and makes for a great highlighter.
Available from Boots for £9.99.
Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream
Often you don’t need anything but a fierce lip colour to make an impression and here are three perfect lip glosses to add to your collection. Matte lips are all the rage right now and this is one of the better brands I’ve tried.
You only need one swipe on your lips to achieve full matte lips whereas some others I’ve used have required several coats and take a couple of minutes to dry properly.
I’d recommend “French Fancy” for a day date, “Metalized Rose” for an evening outing and “Rioja Red” when you want to look drop-dead gorgeous.
These fierce colours are also surprisingly durable and have a long staying power. I tried to remove metalized rose but rubbing with some water and it did not budge!
Available from Boots for £6.49.
Dr’s REMEDY’s Nail Polish Duo
Usually when I’m painting my nails it smells like there’s been some sort of gas leak in the room. However, this nail polish brand is a little different in that it has been specially formulated by certified podiatrists, rather than beauticians.
The aim behind their nail polishes is to make sure that the chemicals you are putting on your nails don’t cause them any unwanted damage.
What’s more, Dr.’s REMEDY is vegan friendly and each bottle is infused with a special blend of natural ingredients including organic tea tree oil, wheat protein, and lavender.
Get one for you and one for your bestie and plan a girls night in with movies, popcorn and pampering! You can make it a weekly meeting knowing that constantly painting your nails isn’t doing them as much damage as it used to.
Traditional Afternoon Tea for Two
Really the best present you can give someone is your time so set a date in the diary for the two of you to spend some quality time together this February.
These vouchers aren’t specific to any tea house or location, which makes it a really easy gift as you can decide all the finer details later.
They also make a great last-minute gift as the vouchers arrive quickly via post and you can even have them personalised for your recipient!
These vouchers are valid from Monday to Sunday for up to 6 months after you purchase them so there’s plenty of time for you to arrange a trip for two.
You can check out all the locations in advance on their website to check that there are some near to you as some reviews suggest there are fewer options in the North of England.
Available from FindMeAGift for £34.
Pusheen Mug & Socks
I must admit I’ve gone a little Pusheen crazy lately but this little animated cat never fails to put a smile on my face.
This Pusheen mug and sock set is perfect for singletons who want to feel cosy at home. Just look at those toe beans! How could you not feel cute af whilst wearing those?

milk & honey by rupi kaur
A good book can often help you feel less alone. Recently I’ve gotten really into reading modern poetry collections such as milk & honey, which deal with the topics of mental health, heartbreak, family and more.
Rupi Kaur manages to put the female experience down in words in a way that few modern authors have today and it’s no wonder her books quickly rose to become bestsellers. milk & honey is her debut collection and is a stunning read.
Most women who read it fall in love with it so I’d highly recommend it this Galentine’s Day.

the sun and her flowers by rupi kaur
If your bud is already a fan of Rupi Kaur, make sure to get her the sun and her flowers which is rupi kaur’s newly released poetry collection.
The format of this one is very similar to milk & honey but this time she deals with: wilting, falling, rooting, rising, blooming.
Personally, I loved this one even more than the first as I found it even more relatable but the two make a great pair and have done wonders for getting readers into poetry over recent years.
Godiva Keepsake Heart Tin
Chocolates are a must at Valentine’s Day and it doesn’t get any better than Godiva. This little tin contains individually wrapped chocolates in two flavours: milk chocolate and almond or dark chocolate and raspberry.
I’m not a fan of dark chocolate myself but I gobbled up the milk chocolate ones in one sitting and will be giving the rest of them along with the tin to a gal pal. Maybe she won’t notice that half of them are missing…
Prosecco Princess Cup
Make your bestie feel like princess of the pre-drinks with this pink (extra af) prosecco cup. Shaped like a wine glass but with a lid and straw attached, this could be a sensible gift for those that are known to become a little unbalanced on their feet when tipsy.
Available from New Look for £1!
HEMA Chocolate Boules
If you’re looking for cheap and cheery gifts for your friends, HEMA should be your first pit stop. They’ve got a large range of Valentine’s Day gifts available, many of which are edible.
These chocolate boules are my favourite from the range as I’ve never had anything like them before.
From the outside, it looks just like a ball of Lindor, but inside there’s chocolate, cream and popping candy!
It makes for an interesting eating experience that’s for sure and it’s fun to watch your friends’ facial expressions as they start to chew.
Sparkling Rose Wine
A close second to chocolate for singletons on Valentine’s Day is a bottle of bubbly. If you want to make your best friend feel special without breaking the bank then an option such as this beautiful rose gold bottle of sparkling wine is worth looking into.
The packaging is fun and girly and a little bit of rosé with the girls should liven up any girlie evening.

Strawberry and Lime Wine
Nothing like a bit of fruity flavoured wine to get the party started!
This bag contains 1.5l of wine which is more than enough for you and a friend to have a lot of fun. Can personally vouch for this since I took this with me to a house party last weekend and much fun was had.
Wine in a bag is perfect for sharing when you’re not quite sure where the night will take you. It’s easy to carry, easy to pour and the best thing is it will keep for 4 weeks after it’s been opened!
If you’re not going anywhere fancy then I would definitely recommend trying this. The strawberry and lime fruit fusion is delicious and tastes more like juice than wine (though it’s still a healthy 9% alcohol)!
Sadly this specific bag of wine is no longer available but there are plenty of other strawberry and lime wines:

I literally opened most of your Galentines gift idea links and I am especially loving the sound of the wine in the bag! I do love wine with the girls and with chocolate it makes the perfect combination. Plus I am a sucker for Pusheen as well!
