Work With Me

Thank you for your interest in working with me. I’m Laura, the woman behind What’s Hot?, which is now a popular book, film and travel blog with a particular focus on real-life adventures for book and film lovers.

I am on a mission to uncover the best literary spots and filming locations in the UK and all over the world, and I write specialist travel itineraries, as well as posts about what books to read and films to watch next.

Find out more about me here.

PR samples & review copies

If you are interested in sending PR samples or review copies to me for consideration, please email me at hello (at) whatshotblog (dot) com for the best postal address.

I am always happy to try new things and get very excited by blogger mail, so if you think my blog would be a good fit for your brand, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Please note that sending a sample my way does not guarantee it will be featured on my blog or social channels. I will always try to unbox the product in my Instagram story and introduce your brand to my followers.

I am very appreciative of all the mail that comes my way, so I do my best to make sure the items I love get the exposure they deserve, but this isn’t always possible.

Book review policy

If you would like to send me a book to review, please contact me with a synopsis of the book. Please note that I am only accepting a limited number of review copies at the moment as my TBR pile is out of control!

By accepting a review copy of a book, I endeavour to tell my followers about it via my Instagram stories when it arrives. However, I cannot guarantee that I will review it.

Of course, if I love a book, I will shout about it all over #bookstagram and my blog, but I will never publish an unjustly biased review.

I do my best to read and review books in a timely manner. However, due to time constraints and work commitments, it may take several weeks for a review to be posted.

For reviews of books I’ve received from publishers and authors in the past, visit the ‘Book Reviews‘ section. Please send your enquiries to hello [at] whatshotblog [dot] com.

See my disclosure policy below.
