The Biscuiteers never fail to amaze me with their incr-edible hand-made designs and the vintage love letter collection for Valentine’s Day has to be my favourite yet. I’m a huge fan of snail mail and all things romantic so this is the perfect box for me – just look at that beautiful dove! The best thing is you can get one of the biscuit envelopes personalised to say the name of your recipient, making this collection that little bit more special.
I usually find that food companies that make beautiful iced goods like this tend to disappoint on the biscuits themselves but that is not the case with the Biscuiteers. These vanilla biscuits are my fave ever, just wish they didn’t cost quite so much per biscuit! These tins are a little spenny but I think they’re 100% worth it as gifts since you can keep the tin as a keepsake box after you’ve devoured these beautifully biccies.
As boxes of chocolate go, it doesn’t get more extravagant than this. This assortment box of nine flavoured chocolates from Godiva are beautifully packaged in this lovely box, hand-drawn by illustrator Jessie Ford. It contains limited edition flavours of orange and caramel, lemon and ginger and, my favourite, sweet praline. If you want to impress with a beautiful, edible gift this year, this one’s for you.
Real flowers will eventually wilt and die but chocolate lasts forever! Sort of… Your s/o will get a lot more out of this milk chocolate rose and it’s a fun surprise instead of a traditional bunch of flowers!
These little chocolate hearts are deliciously sweet and super moreish. Salted caramel is all the rage right now and these delectable little bites will be snapped up in no time at all. What’s more, they’re 100% organic and made right here in Britain’s Gloucestershire! They come in a beautiful wooden box, wrapped with a bow, so it’s a fitting present this Valentine’s Day.
If you’re looking to save money this Valentine’s Day or even spending Valentine’s Day at home, then add this to your shopping list. This stylish bottle of rosé from Willow and Stone will only set you back £3.39, which is astoundingly cheap! It’s best served chilled and is very refreshing, bursting with sweet raspberry and strawberry flavours.
Mr Gladstone’s Curious Emporium have the funkiest bottles around making them perfect for gift giving. Most bottles are only £5 each but you wouldn’t be able to tell from the packaging! It may seem a little eccentric but this strawberry bon bon flavoured rosé goes down smoothly and is made with 100% natural flavourings.
If you’re looking to spend a little more on a good bottle this year, then check out this organic sparkling rosé. This one is best served as an aperitif as it’s unusually dry for a rosé and contains delicate tones of hazelnut, aniseed and soft fruit. The bottle is absolutely stunning, making it a great gift for the ladies this year.
This beautiful bottle of rose gold Bottega is just the drink to finish off your evening with. The packaging is stunning and it comes with two matching glasses so you can throw those well-used plastic champagne flutes away. The best gifts for Valentine’s Day are those that can be shared and enjoyed together so treat yourself and your lady friend this year! This sparkling rosé is full of light and summery flavours including red fruit, strawberry, cream and vanilla. It goes well with fruity desserts and cakes so save this bottle til last!
A Pandora charm bracelet is a classic gift that you can keep on adding to year after year. Pandora have branches out from their traditional silver bracelet and you can now get this silver bangle for all your charms. There are a huge range of romantic charms on offer this year with lots of different price ranges so here are my three suggestions: the two hearts spacer (£20), a fuchsia heart charm (£45) and finally, the explosion of love charm (£65). The two hearts spacer is really reasonably priced with a small heart and tiny engraving saying “You and Me” on it too, which matches with the ring option below.
The You & Me ring is my favourite item from Pandora’s Valentine’s Day collection this year as it’s super simply but striking because of the gorgeous deep red colour. As I said above, there’s a tiny engraving saying “you & me” on the ring, which I think is a lovely extra touch that makes this a great gift for a loved one on Valentine’s Day or any other occasion.
I am obsessed with cuffs at the mo and this classic silver cuff with small heart details is great for stacking. The bolo closure means this will fit all wearers so no need to worry about sizing if you’re buying this as a gift. It’s a lovely minimalist piece of jewellery that can be worn everyday as a constant reminder of its generous giver!
These stud earrings from Tresor Paris would make for a sweet, romantic gift this Valentine’s Day. They’re small and subtle so suitable for your Valentine’s Day date or every day wear! These delicate heart shaped earrings are lined with tiny diamante stones and the centre heart folds upwards for a 3D effect.
Something Wicked is a brand I’ve recently been introduced to and it’s the perfect brand for those wanting to gift something naughty this year. This multi-way bra can be arranged so the straps cross the chest, which is super sexy, or you can move them to the sides like an ordinary bra. From the photo you might think that I have a penchant for granny pants but flip this pair over and there’s a very sexy “peephole” for your lower back too. These bits are made from soft silk, French Chantilly lace and powermesh for a bit of modern romance. The whole set is rather expensive but this isn’t the sort of lingerie you’d be wearing everyday. If there’s ever a time to splash out on elegant and sexy underwear, it would be for Valentine’s Day!
If my bf bought me these for Valentine’s Day I’d be like wow this boy actually knows something about fashion (he doesn’t). These boots are my new faves and perfect for so many different occasions, including Valentine’s Day itself! They’d be great to dress up a casual outfit, perfect for London bar crawls or if you’re the sort to wear heels to work everyday, then slap these on with a pair of nice trousers. They’re really very comfy despite the high heel, which is a huge bonus (and welcome relief)!
This red embossed bag from Dune is one of the best Gucci bag dupes out there right now and it’s £60 as opposed to £800! It’s my new fave bag and goes perfectly with the red Dune Olyvea boots featured in my Christmas Gift Guide for Ladies. It’s roomy enough to fit all your daily essentials in it including phone, purse, makeup etc. Something bold and red is the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day, especially for those that perhaps haven’t been brave enough to buy something like this for themselves!
One of the first things I do when I get to a hotel room is check to see if they’ve left any fluffy bath robes for our stay. There are few things more relaxing then taking a long hot bath and then slipping into a nice, soft bath robe, and now you can recreate that post-spa feeling in your very own home.
NB I’m a size 10 and ordered a size M, but in retrospect I should’ve gone for S!
A couple of weeks ago I was treated to a luxurious chocolate and roses facial treatment at the Hale Clinic in London. The treatment begins with a short skin consultation over a warm cup of rose tea and the whole process is explained. I’d never had any sort of treatment like this before and at the age of 22 I’m not really in the target audience for this sort of treatment but I love trying new things and this was quite an experience.
For around forty minutes, my face was treated to a radio-frequency treatment with the aim of tightening and plumping the skin. The effect is similar, though not quite the same as, botox, except this is non-invasive and much more relaxing. Whilst I was warned that it might feel painfully hot, I didn’t experience this (possibly because I have younger skin), and I enjoyed this warm massage very much. Although my skin is fairly young and taut already, my skin was noticeably plump after the treatment and I left with gloriously smooth skin.
The skin is massaged with hyaluronic acid and cocoa flavanols (which costs £2,500 per kilogram of goodness!) so this really is a top of the range facial with the best quality resources from sustainable sources.
A single treatment will set you back a whopping £200 so it won’t be for everyone but if you’re someone that already spends a fortune on facial treatments or maybe even botox, it’s worth looking into this non-invasive treatment. Bundle treatments come at a discount and it’s the sort of thing that requires a course of treatment for the best results.
This gift box from Lush contains all a girl would need for an evening of serious pampering. There are four goodies inside including: Tender is the Night naked shower cream, Cherryish body scrub, The Kiss lip scrub and Melt My Heart cocoa butter. My favourites are the naked shower cream (zero waste ftw!) and the lip scrub, which tastes just like Love Hearts! These four ingredients will leave you with silky smooth and fragrant skin and lips, perfect for Valentine’s Day.
For years I’ve opted for eau de parfum instead of eau de toilette, thinking the latter is much weaker and therefore not worth it. I’m so glad Ghost Sweetheart Forever came my way as it’s something I probably would’ve ignored in the store but it’s a beautiful scent and my new go-to daily fragrance. It’s described as “floriental” with delicate floral notes and hints of lychee and orange. It’s the perfect light scent for Valentine’s Day – not too expensive and beautifully packaged. There’s even a gift box set available from Boots with a lovely pendant included.
The return of instant print cameras has been met with great enthusiasm from people all over the globe but it’s undeniably inconvenient carrying such a bulky camera around when you’re out and about. I’ll always favour my digital camera because I can take lots of pictures on the go and I’ll take instant pictures when at home with friends at family. Instax have now solved this problem with their new product: the Instax Share Printer. This clever little device can be paired up with your mobile phone via wifi and then you can print any photos from your phone onto polaroid paper!! This is a great gift for the sentimental type and you can print out lots of pictures for you both to keep as keepsakes with very little hassle. This is my number 1 recommendation this Valentine’s Day for those that don’t mind spending a little more.
If you first locked eyes over a bowl of spaghetti then these Disney Lady and the Tramp cuties from Hallmark would make an adorable Valentine’s Day gift. I’m a sucker for all things fluffy, all things cute and all things Disney so this pair get a big thumbs up from me. These two are limited edition so be quick before they’re all snapped up! Check out my Valentine’s Day Gifts for Him post to see the Star Wars itty bitty range.
If you two are always rushing around in the morning and usually flying out the door with nothing but a strong cup of coffee then consider getting these cute egg cups along with the promise to spend more time together in the mornings. These Pusheen egg cups are so cute and perfect for eggy soldiers for Sunday breakfast.
