Moët and Chandon has been the official champagne of the Golden Globes for 25 years. Now, the luxury champagne brand is taking this partnership to the next level by offering film enthusiasts the opportunity to win a film grant worth a whopping $25,000. Alongside this, the winner will also win two tickets to the Golden Globes in 2016 as Moët’s special guests and receive exposure on all Moët US‘s social channels!
Trying to fund a film is not easy. I have watched lots of my uni friends try all sorts of things to gather funding for their small film projects and these often turn out to be rather impressive! It’s a great shame that there are many other individuals out there who are not able to turn their dreams into a reality because they do not have the means to turn their idea into a real film. With Moët‘s help, one filmmaker’s dreams could come true. The money from this grant would not only give the lucky winner the means to make a fantastic film, but also the exposure needed for it to really gather attention.
This is the first ever Moët Moment online Film Festival. The theme for this year’s contest is CAPTURE THE NOW. It’s all about making the most of life’s experiences and living spontaneously without regrets. When you live in The Now, anything is possible – and Now is your moment.
MOËT MOMENT FILM FESTIVAL COMPETITION TO WIN $25,000
All you have to do to enter, is create a 30-60 second video that captures your unique expression of The Now. The film will be judged by a panel of influential film industry representatives including actress Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin), co-Ceo of Primary Wave Entertainment David Guillod, talent agent Rachel Sheedy, Ryan Tarpley from the Creative Artistis Agency and We Are From LA, who are the masterminds behind Pharell Williams’ Happy.
The lucky winner will be awarded a $25,000 filmmaking grant, exposure on Moët‘s social channels as well as two tickets to the Golden Globes. Whew.
This is an absolutely fantastic opportunity for a talented filmmaker who is lacking funding. This grant could really change your life so if you’ve got an idea that you want to turn into a creative project, then this is something you should be looking at. Thirty seconds really could change your life.
This annual fund is designed to give back to the creative community, which Moët have been fortunate enough to be a part of for years. The aim is to support the next generation of Hollywood stars, those who are dedicated and passionate about story-telling through the art of film.
